PrEP Care along with Community Based Organization (CBO) partnerships, ensures that your PrEP prescription gives back to your community and may help others access PrEP at no cost. Many organizations receive grants to cover the cost of PrEP for uninsured and undocumented patients. PrEP Care collaborates with these organizations to expand PrEP access for everyone.
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) offers government-subsidized health insurance, and recent changes have made it possible for many people to qualify for plans with no out-of-pocket premiums. Others may receive significant premium assistance, often reducing their costs to zero. With ACA insurance, patients can access PrEP provider visits, labs, and medications without any cost. This insurance also covers other medical services within the plan, such as primary care visits.
